This is a page that I did for a friend at work......
It's for her friends b-day. They are involved in dog shows.....and her friends dog is an Irish Setter and won a show. So she asked me to put something together for her. This will go into a 12x12 frame and her friend will add the photo and some journaling when she gets this.

CHA Review

Can I just say "WOW" Im so sore, just from one day walking around that place. My mistake is that I did not bring a rolling cart, I had a shoulder bag with me. "UM HELLO" Yes, my shoulders hurt. Last year I was there with another group and I was there basically as a guest. This year I was there with Scrapbook News and Review, handing out business cards, trying to connect with some of these manufacturers and getting catalogs. Well I could only carry so many. LOL
I have to say that for the most part everyone there was real friendly, everyone was willing to help you and hand you a catalog when you walked in to their booth. There were some booths that were REAL busy and you had to wait for a bit for some help (TIM HOLTZ/Ranger) and (PRIMA) just to name a couple. Ok.....TERESA what a sweetie. She stood there and talked to us for about a half hour. We talked alot about her product....and she has some really CUTE stuff coming out by the way, we talked about CHA being in Florida next year (yup you heard me right) FLORIDA......
She is just down to earth sweet. The Making Memories booth was a HUGE RAH RAH session everytime I walked by......they had some amazing give a ways.....I guess every day at 2:00, you had to have a ticket, gather in their booth and they gave some wonderful stuff away by drawing tickets.
So all in all it was a good day. Here is a picture of the girls that I was with. Me on the left, Jenna in the middle and Katie is the owner of Scrapbook News and review on the right.

A walk down by the lake

Well, I just want to say that I need to start making some changes in my life....(not that I havent had enough already with in the last couple of years) but......I have gotten to the point of PURE boredom.
Going through a divorce, having one of your kids now old enough to drive with a job and a car, the other one will be doing so soon enough. Life gets lonely. I go to work, I go home, I go to work, I go home. Home is nice and all, but there is only so much time spent there basically alone. Come home, turn on my computer, sit at my scrapping table, turn the music on. Cook some dinner, maybe read a little, get hooked into TV.......
Well....last night I decided that I have really been TIRED and BORED with my life lately and that I needed to do something different.
We have a beautiful lake front (Lake Michigan) in down town Kenosha. I have only been there a few times myself, but thought...hey....grab the camera and go take a thats what I did for exercise, and just getting fresh air and taking random pictures of THINGS......I was gone for about 3 hours. It was quite nice. And I had to laugh because my son even called to find out where I was. HE NEVER DOES THAT! So here are just a few of my favorite photos that I took down by the lake. Hope you enjoy!

OH My goodness.....going through my pictures at a closer look, I had no idea that I captured this little guy on his mamma's back.....I cropped it and got a better close up for you to cute is that?

This one is for GLENDA......LOL.....its only my right foot girl.......

I miss gardening......I use to love to plant and pull flowers to put in vases......I love all the different types...and learned alot a few years ago when I was into gardening. But we sold our house and I lost all of that.

There were seaguls all over looking for some one to feed them...

Wrote this in the sand with my foot. But I cant figure out why it posts sideways when I add it here, it's normal saved in my pictures......HMMMM???? dont know. Just picture it saying H I the right way...LOL

Yuppers thats my foot print.

Yuppers thats my shadow on the water.

Now and Then

Just wanted to share a page that I did for SNR awhile ago....this was just showing the technique of how easy it is to use rub-ons on a lay out. Black Bazzill card stock that I then used a white ink pen to make dots. Rub ons framing the pictures and corners, a circle cut out from a Luxe piece of pp with some stickles, bazzill flower in the middle with a brad and thickers letters.
My DD and I BOTH use to be alot heavier and I thought this was the perfect title for this page showing what we were then and what we are now. TFL.....

Scrap book News and Review

Needs your submissions for August calls! Come on, what are you waiting for? This is a great Ezine that I have been involved with for the past few months. I love everything about it, the magazine itself has so much to why not submit your creations for publication, for a free month of the magazine to check it out?

Hope to see some of my friends (you know who you are) submit your beautiful work!

Grand Canyon

Well here it is. My Grand Canyon mini albumm that was done with a Maya Rd chip board album. I really loved this paper line by Yellow Bicycle that my LSS gave me to work with. And once I figured out what pictures I wanted to use, it all fell into place, because the pictures go so well with this line. I went to see the Grand Canyon in Feb 07 with my brother when we flew to AZ to visit my parents. It was a long weekend and this was one place that him and I had to go to since neither one of us had ever rocked.........Seriously...the views were amazing, I could have spent days there taking pictures. And pictures dont do it justice. When we first got there both of our mouths dropped at the site. My God, its breath taking. So here is an album that I will always treasure.

My cat cocoa

Isnt she cute....I just love this picture of her with her greenish/yellow eyes. And the Yellow Bicycle line that I got to work with from Hannahs was pefect for this picture. Her eyes match colors in the papers. The papers and the chipboard and stickers and the coolest shades of greens, blues and browns with metallic accents....I loved working with this.....
Im in the process of doing a mini album with this line too so be on the look out for pictures of that within the next week!
