Get well card

Here is another card that I created using scraps. Well this was actually one of those paper gift packs that you get as a goodie bag at Archivers when you attend one of their crops. I never did anything with the paper, and pulled it out the other night and thought, OH I will make a card with this. Im kind of liking this whole card thing, its quick and easy when I want to do something instead of doing a lay out. And I figure that if I keep it up I will just have my mom try and sell these at the Farmers Market this summer where she goes to sell her jewelry and purses that she makes. So just doing these for fun now and if I get enough made I will try and sell them.

HI

Here is a quick card that I did tonight using some scrap paper. Because this is only my second card I decided to pull out some scraps and see what I could create. I did look through an idea book and saw a card something like this, and thought hey thats cute, so I kinda got inspiration from an idea out of a book. I love the way that it turned out. I think I will be pulling more scraps out and doing more cards now that I realize that its pretty easy.....LOL

Siblings

PRIMA BUILD A PAGE SKETCH:
http://prima.typepad.com/prima/2008/03/brand-new-prima.html
I ran across this one day and thought it would be fun to enter, not that I have a chance with the entries that I have seen. But I like to challange myself sometimes with stuff like this. Im not into WINNING so much as just doing it for myself. It gives me mojo and inspiration when I find something that I like. So if its a challange, if its a contest and it peaks my interest...then I play along.
So this is the page that I did for this blog.

Pops (Grandpa)

This is a frame that I did for a co-worker whos friends grandfather passed away. She bought the frame. It was a frame that was matted and suppose to be used for like a diploma or something like that. But I made it work for what she wanted. I used PP that goes real well with the pictures she gave me that were in Sepia.
I framed the pictures with rub ons. The Heidi Swapp clock I used a leafing gold pen around the edges. I used some prima flowers in 3 corners with prima say it in crystals. There is also a special song and a few lines from the song that she wanted included that I put on the journaling card.

He's quite the photo editor

Here are a couple of pictures of my son RJ. He took these pictures and went into a photo software and played around and came up with some funky stuff. He kills me at how smart he is on some of this stuff, hes 14 years old and most of the time I have to ask him for help when I want something done. LOL

YOO HOO, HOW ARE YOU?

I made this card, my very first card ever...LOL
For those of you that know me, I scrap book pages, and I have altered a few things, but I have never ventured into cards. I have bought cards to make, I have bought stamps, Im just getting into embossing a little bit...and thought what the heck. Im gonna make my mom a card just to try it out. Nothing fancy...just simple stamping and embossing techniques. Little bit of chalking.....and some ribbon.
What do you think? Im mailing it to her today......
